Hi! I’m Nathan. My passion for serving others began the summer before my freshman year in high school during a transformative missions trip to Mexico. I saw individuals and families lacking essential health resources, and this experience revealed the urgent needs within underserved communities. The following summer, I participated in a missions trip in Hartford, Connecticut, and I observed similar challenges, with many communities lacking basic first aid and hygiene supplies.
During my training as an EMT, I’ve seen how access to basic hygiene profoundly impacts health and quality of life. Motivated by these experiences, I founded CareKit Community to provide basic supplies to those in need. I believe that through collaboration and community engagement, we can make a meaningful difference, fostering a healthier and more connected community, one CareKit at a time.

Each kit is a reminder that someone cares, and every donation fosters a healthier, more compassionate community.

From Vision to Impact
CareKit Community began with a simple idea: to support those often overlooked by providing essential health and hygiene supplies. Founded by Nathan Huang, inspired by his mission trips and EMT experiences, he recognized how the lack of basic resources impacts health. We've since dedicated ourselves to bringing hope to those in need. What started as a small effort has evolved into a mission of compassion.
